We offer in-store testing to make the process as simple, stress free and convenient as possible.

Why get tested?

A Hepatitis B immunity blood test is used to determine whether you are protected against the Hepatitis B virus, either through successful vaccination or a past infection. The test measures Hepatitis B surface antibodies, which the body produces to defend itself against the virus, and is commonly performed to confirm that a vaccine has worked, to check if natural immunity has developed after previous exposure, or to identify if someone is not immune and may need vaccination. It is often required for workplace health checks—especially in healthcare settings—as well as for travel, during pregnancy, or for individuals with chronic liver disease who need to know their immune status.

A positive result shows that protective antibodies are present and immunity is established, while a negative result indicates that you are not immune and may require vaccination. It’s important to note that this test only assesses immunity, not whether a current Hepatitis B infection is present, which requires different testing.
