There is no better way to check for underlying health problems, or monitor existing conditions, than with a blood test.*

Whether you are concerned about your health, managing an existing condition or simply curious, a blood test provides a fast, affordable and easy way to start taking charge of your own health.

We offer in-store testing to make the process as simple, stress free and convenient as possible.

Why get tested?

A ferritin blood test helps measure the body’s stored iron levels, providing essential insight into whether someone has too little or too much iron. It is commonly ordered when symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, pale skin, dizziness, or shortness of breath suggest iron deficiency anemia, as low ferritin confirms depleted iron stores and helps guide appropriate treatment with supplements or dietary changes. The test is also crucial for diagnosing iron overload, where high ferritin levels may indicate hereditary hemochromatosis, repeated blood transfusions, excessive iron intake, or liver disease—conditions that can lead to organ damage if untreated.

Beyond iron-related issues, ferritin testing supports the evaluation of liver health and can signal the presence of inflammation or infection, since ferritin rises during inflammatory states. It may also assist in assessing other medical conditions such as hemolytic anemia or certain lymphomas. By identifying whether iron levels are too low, too high, or influenced by underlying disease, a ferritin test provides valuable information for accurate diagnosis and ongoing health management.
