Dears Pharmacy are delighted to be working with Q doctor in Edinburgh and Fife to bring digital doctors directly into their pharmacy consulting rooms.
Whether you’re a local who can’t get an appointment to suit you with your GP, or you’re travelling and need to see a GP or have forgotten your meds, Q doctor is here to help.
Q doctor is suitable for people for a wide range of clinically straightforward problems and are able to prescribe a large number of medications, if deemed clinically necessary.
Q doctor was founded by Dr Chris Whittle while working as an doctor in the NHS. He discovered that patients outside the hospital couldn’t access their GP when they needed to, and that existing technology solutions weren’t really helping the NHS.
Q doctor would like to become a bridge between General Practice and Community Pharmacies – helping pharmacies use their consulting rooms effectively, relieving pressure on NHS GPs, and providing people with a service when they actually need it.
